Chapitre 89: Misunderstood Kindness - Monologue
Sometimes we want to be good to everyone, ignoring their shortfalls. But it is not the case on the other end. Because others might take you as insincere.
All our lives it is public opinion that keeps pushing us in their desired direction. To like their common ideals and to hate their common enemy. And when you refuse and assert your kindness... thats' when the game changes.
When you are good to everyone people call you hypocrite. People sometimes mistook kindness as hypocrisy as this virtue is not seen very often. Materialism and fast life style, has changed meaning of values.
You think there is no absolute right and no absolute wrong.
So you hesitate to act on right and wrong. The very moment of hesitation makes you a monster in the eyes of those who want certainty.
Who see world as black and white. Though they might admit the existence of grays and shadows for others, but when it comes to themselves... they only believe in black and white.
As they want someone to blame, to retaliate against. For, they can not fight and curse fate and indirectly themselves for unfortunate happenings in their life.
In life we get to choose how we act to a phenomenon. We are in control of our reactions too. Throughout our lives the sequences of our actions and reactions makes our current reality. Even if someone instigate and provoke you. It is still in your own hand how you react.
To break it down. How we think is how we act to any sudden situation. And more or less in our lives these sudden situations, changes our course of lives and become our fate. We shape our fate ourself.
Life do throw some random crap on you, but how you take it is what defines you, your reality and your life.
I was talking about "kindness". Before trying to be kind to others, be kind to yourself. Before trying to be a helping hand to others, be a helping hand to yourself. Solve your issues and identify your problems first before trying to heal others... heal yourself.
Kindness is not expected of you now, it is straightforwardness that is demanded. So straightforwardness is new kindness.
