Chapitre 11: Murkwood Passage
Before Jay started trying to remember everything he knew about Murkwood Passage, he first made sure that there are currently no dangers around him. He then tried his best to remember. "Umm... lets see..."
Murkwood Passage was a special area in Murkwood which was discovered only after 1 year the game was released. It was discovered by a player named 'Red Ghost', a level 40 Ranger, after frantically grinding monsters around places in Murkwood. Murkwood Passage is an eerie and spooky place which is full of dead trees and gray soil. It is a place that is habitable to Undead creatures and is full of Necromancer NPCs. The trees are very clustered that it is impossible to cut your way through and can only advance at narrow pathways scattered around. At first, Red Ghost cursed himself since the 'Maps' function of the Fate System does not work in special areas but as he head deeper and deeper, he discovered a level 50 Dungeon. The Dungeon entrance was near a cursed lake called 'The Lake of Frallia'. But Red Ghost was not stupid enough to enter a level 50 Dungeon by himself so he decided to grind the Undead creatures in the area which is around level 30-40.
After a few months of its discovery, some players discovered that the place has a lot of hidden treasures and the most important discovery was it was a resting place for two Enchanted Platinum ranked weapons which was in the hands of a hidden boss.
"I guess that's about it. But I guess I'm still screwed since I am only at level 5 right now." Jay had a grim expression since he knew that the monsters in this area are tougher than the gray wolves he had just encountered. "I just hope that the game is still does not have the 'level suppression' which was placed into the game after its 1st update"
Just as Jay was talking to himself he remembered that he can ask the system... "Fate, what is the date and era I am at now?", the system replied "The era is currently known as the 'Warring States Era' and the date today is the 1st of August, Year x509". Jay was relieved to hear that he still has one year to prepare since the update of the game only came after one year (in-game time) later. "I hope I only encounter the level 30 common monsters or I am really screwed. Well, I should sleep first before I start exploring this place, and probably craft some items for me to use..." Then Jay dozed of to sleep.
