Chapitre 46: Final Week Before The Tournament!
*Sigh*
"Do we have to bring this big thing with us?" Bruno asks Jian with a tired look while pointing at Cayou behind us. "Of course we do, after all it's a gift that the Orcs gave us." Jian says. That is correct.
Before we left the Orc kingdom Migora, Yima asked us to take care of her father for her while she was declared the chief of the village. Through her saying, "It was a gift of honour that the Orcs were lending us." But I already knew, they just wanted to get rid of Cayou so that their kingdom doesn't get destroyed. Plus...The Orcs...The little goblins...They all were unhappy with such a huge Ogre staying there.
We finally make it to the entrance of the country of Regina. Without any doubt, they might have already got the letter. We sent that letter to each part of the world that we can. Each races that are in power...They got that letter...The Orcs without any doubt will get their place in council. The Orcs have always been underestimated...They are a very strong ally though and I do not tend to give up on them as an ally to them.
I see every knights faces as they guard the entrance. They either want to kill this big guy over here or either want are too scared to move. That would be my first reaction without any doubt too. I see councillor Cao Ping standing right at the entrance to the country of Regina. "Explain yourself." He says. His eyes are looking straight into ours. It's like a knife that's being hit right into our eyes. Such strong eyes.
I look to my left and right. Bruno and Jian seem to be sweating and shaking by quite a bit. What's with them? "Seems like your the only brave one here." The councillor says with a sigh. Does he mean me? "Well, explain what happened." The councillor says again. I nod. I explain the councillor about everything that had occurred about 3 to 4 weeks ago now. The councillor nods. "Interesting, so this is the gift from the Orcs to the human." Cao Ping says. I nod. "That is correct, sir." I say.
"His a very reliable weapon and he can be very strong." I say. "Then will you take care of it?" Cao Ping asks me. "Huh?" I am confused by what he just said. "Didn't you hear me?" He asks me. "Will you take care of it?" He repeats his question. "If that is what you desire..." I am cut out. "Good then, I will make sure that he stays with you all the time." Cao Ping says. "Card Magic: Card Convert." Cao Ping doesn't even use any chant and uses magic. Incredible!
Cao Ping points at the Ogre and the Ogre shrinks into a card. I walk towards that card and pick it up. "Great job kid." Cao Ping says and then leaves. "Oh another thing, whenever you need the Ogre's help just say 'Open Sesame' that will work." Cao Ping says before leaving. Open Sesame huh? "What an interesting magic councillor Cao Ping has." I have to admit it. That was damn cool. He turned such a big thing into such a small card. That's a very powerful magic.
Well...Now that I am back...I should get back to training and see how the squad is doing. I smile. It's been a long time since I left them. They will be quite upset about it. I sigh. I hope they didn't stop their training and are going according to my instructions because if they are then there should be no problems at all for this next week or so's training. I smile. "I am back everyone so don't worry, everything will be okay." I say to myself. With that, I finally begin making my way back to the academy.
"Alright everyone, I am back!" I say as I come back to the academy dorms. "Huh?" What happened here? Everyone seems to be down. Next week is the tournament and we need to be brimming with confidence by now. "Oh hey Henry..." Jacob looks away from me as if I am a stranger.
"Where have you been?" Ilora? I look to my right and she stands right there with her hands fold. She looks at me with her cold death stare. "I was away on a mission." I say with a nervous smile. "Let's speak in private." Ilora says to me. I follow her as she leads me out of the dorm and to the forest we practised during early days. "Well, there are two news are got for you, one is good news and one is bad news, which do you want to hear?" She asks. "Whichever you feel like feeding me." I say. "Well, I will start with good." I rather start with bad. "Cyan and my training is completed with your instructions. It is quite an unique way of thinking you have, to make smaller level spells and upgrade them to level 3 or even level 5. Quite an intelligent person you are. I never would have guessed that in my lifetime." Ilora says. "Well, it should be in the advance knight books. It's all about how to use level 1 spells and stuff like that." I say. "Wait? What advance knight books? There are no such books in our academy." What did she say? No such books? But I learnt it all from mom's advanced knight books...What does she mean by no such books then?
"Well, whatever the case, I also have a bad news." Ilora says. "What would that be?" I ask. "Damien has created a problem...And that is a not your small everyday problem...He created a huge problem and Brenna...She supported that problem..." Ilora says. "Do you want to know what the problem was?" Ilora asks. "Yeah, of course..." I say. why wouldn't I?. "The problem here is...Damien went against your instructions and went forward and told everyone that such spell was of no news as no one improved within the first few days. It took me almost a week to understand this but...The others weren't so sure about it...So they stopped training until you arrived." Ilora looks disappointed. I sigh. "Just my luck."
