"What kind of bullshit is this?!" Sean questions pointing at the mark that we left. We left the mark here but as we move it's like we are dragged back to the starting position but I know we are moving. It can't be that we aren't moving or else I would have felt like something is dragging us back here but instead I feel like my feet is going forward just like when I walk normally but nothing changes.
"Captain..." I call out for Tamie. "I know, something is up with this singular path." Tamie says. "It's not us but rather this whole path that's making no sense. It's like a looping mirror or something of that sort." Tamie says. "Wait...So we are looping in a mirror?" Sean asks. "Not exactly." I say. "Hmm? What makes you say that?" Tamie asks me. "If we were looping in the mirror both of you could have sensed mana as it has to be someone's magic doing it but rather none of you said anything about feeling mana around us or anything like that." I explain. "That is correct...But over whatever the mana of that thing is...Can we sense other manas around us?" Sean asks. "Sean has got a point, Henry." Tamie says. "Guess we have to break this mirror loop somehow." Sean says. Even if he says that...Something feels strange about this path. "Should we try going back?" Sean asks. Tamie nods. "Let's try doing that, maybe it will work." Tamie says. We all decide to go back and I follow but I still feel like there is something more to this single path then just a mirror loop.
Following Tamie and Sean, I have surely been walking for about 30 minutes. "This is strange, I see none of our marks but...We should have reached the exit a long time ago." Tamie says. "Don't tell me, we are mirror looping again..." Sean says. There is no mark over here. I go towards the wall and touch where the mark was. There was a mark here 30 minutes ago when we were looping and what's strange is...We are still looping at least through what Sean and Tamie said. I begin walking back down the path we came while touching the wall and closing my eyes and feeling it. "What's he upto?!" Sean questions. I can hear everything...
"Whenever you feel like your eyes aren't responding or you feel like you can't hear anything...Use your sense of touch because your sense of touch are your third best weapon after your ears and instinct." That's what mother said to me when we used to train. I felt something, it was like I was touching a face of human. GOT IT! I create a steel rod. "What in the actual-" Before Sean could complete his sentence. I hit the wall near me. "AH! AH! AH! MY NOSE!" Suddenly, the wall begins to form a face and that face begins to glide to my right. "WOAH!!! IS THAT WHAT WAS STOPPING US?!" Sean asks. "Sean, I need you to use that move you used against Jacob on that wall." I say to Sean. "Understood!" Sean says.
"From the fire it rises, from the water it flies, form the metal as of where I lie, IRON MAGIC: IRON SPIKES!!!!" Sean fires his spikes right at the wall's face which is gliding from us. I stay in the middle of the iron spikes where there is no iron spike and run towards the wall myself. I create an iron pike and smack it right into the wall along with the iron spikes. Sean's iron spikes disappear and my pike with it as the wall crumbles down to the floor. Well that finished quickly, that strong mana person sure has weird security system over here.
I go back to Tamie and Sean. "I guess so...That clears up our path." Sean says. Tamie chuckles, "You beginners are quite good, I must say that. Also fabulous teamwork both of you. Not to mention, great call from you Henry. I can see why, your the vice captain of squad Rizing." Tamie says to us. "Thanks a lot, captain...It means a lot for us coming from a knight herself." I say to Tamie. "The feeling is mutual, captain." Sean says to Tamie.
"Anyways, let's get to that guy already. I want to rip him apart myself and I will make sure he will die the most horrible death possible." Tamie says. I nod. "Understood." Sean and me say together. We begin walking forward.
After a 30 minute of walk, we finally reached the exit of this path. As soon as we enter the next room, we see bright light all over the place. It's like a throne room and everything seems to be like a kings palace. Even the throne is decorated. "What is this place?" Sean questions. "I have no idea." Tamie says. No one paid attention on the old man that was sitting on the throne. He has a dark skinned and huge and pointy ears. It's an elf...A dark elf. "Damn...A dark elf." As soon as I say that, everyone's attention goes to the dark elf sitting in the throne along with the guardians near him. Elves in general have many types of races. The dark elves are the one's who are exiled from their country because they were led to the path of darkness. Also, not to mention, Elves are the most powerful magic users in all world. No wonder we were feeling such a huge mana coming towards us.
"You are correct, we are...The dark elves and you are welcome to the kingdom of our King Theodred Caikrana." A woman dark skinned with long braided red hair, pointy ears and glasses says to us. "You are the one who killed...-" Before Tamie could complete the her sentence the man sitting in the throne interrupts her out. "Yes I did kill them and I even ate two of them." The old man's eyes begin to leave a menacing aura. "And they were nastily tasty!" Suddenly, Sean fell on the ground. His breathing begun to get heavy. "This mana...It's too much...For...Him..." Tamie seems to sweating a lot and her breathing is getting heavy just like Sean's. Tamie falls on her knees. "I am surprised that you still stand boy. It's almost as if your not afraid of us." Theodred says. "King Theodred right?" I ask. "That is correct." Theodred says. "I am not afraid of anything or else...I wouldn't be called a knight. I will be called a coward than, and I never learnt the art to be a coward." I say. "Interesting...I guess, you are very picky with your words aren't you? So, you want to fight me?" Theodred asks. "Fight you? No...I am here to kill you!"
The whole group of dark elves begin to laugh at my comment. "I can already say that by the amount of mana your exerting your around those mid 7000 mana users. That means out of us even the weakest of us can take you down no problem." An elf boy with a hunchback and a stick says to me and his not wrong, generally the elves are born with a mana power of 7000. So, I must be like a baby to them but... "You shouldn't understimate me." I say. "Don't...You are not strong...Enough..." With those words Tamie falls unconscious. I know I am not strong enough to fight with them but my plan here is to hold out at least until others arrive here.
"That woman who was capable of making trouble for us went down so easily. It is kind of surprising." The woman with red hair says. "And to think she was talking all big." Another woman from the side says. I begin warming up before fighting these elves. "You seem to be quite confident and calm even after we stand right in front of you." One of the kings subordinates says. I hop a few times readying my punches and take a fighting stance. "Let us begin!" I say.
*SWOOP*
"Wow, your really slow." The hunchback guy came up behind me out of nowhere. He uses his stick to attack me but then from my left, the red haired girl comes out of nowhere and kicks me in the gut.
*SMACK*
I roll to my left as fast as a bullet as they attacked me. "What's the matter? Didn't you say, you were going to kill the king? You should know, to kill our king you must kill us first." The red haired girl says to me as she slowly walks towards me. I get up, holding my gut. I create a dagger. A dagger will be a good close quarter combat weapon. I create two of the dagger's thinking of it. "Dual-wielding with daggers, how very interesting." Theodred says as he watched my battle with two of his subordinates.
*SWOOP*
They are both fast. I close my eyes. If I can't see them, I can hear them. Gotcha! I try to stab the guy to my left.
*SWING*
"Huh?!" The guy vanishes. "Nice move right? It's called vanishing touch." The guy says to me as he appears behind me. I swing one of my daggers behind me.
*SWING*
He again disappears. This time he appears in all 4 directions. What's happening here?! "Your weak." The girl says to me as she catches my neck collar of my long jacket and throws me towards the wall behind her.
*SMASH*
It seems the wall gave me some cuts and scratches here and there but I am alright so I get up again. "Well, well, the kid for sure is tough to take those-" I throw the dagger right at the girl.
*SWOOP*
"What a joke!" The girl says and appears in front of me. She punches me in my gut.
*SMACK*
I spit out some saliva. I catch the girl's hand and smile. "Didn't expect this kid, a lure in tactic." The girl says to me. "Told you to not underestimate me." I say. "Huh?!" I take the girl's hand and pull her over my shoulder performing one of the moves that affiliate with judo that my mom taught me.
*SMASH*
"That kid has a lot of raw strength. I didn't expect him to pick up, Ayla like that." The hunchback boy says. The boy smiles. "But little does he know, he has underestimated Ayla."
*SPLASH*
"Guh!" What's this? I look down towards my stomach and see a sword made out of light sticking in my gut. "Oops, sorry, I forgot to mention. We elves can use magic without chanting spells unlike you humans." The girl says to me with a menacing smile. "And that does it. Your story ends here, human." The girl says as my eyes begins to blur out and I begun to sight of what was happening. Am I...Unconscious or am I...Dead...? Is this...Really how I die...?
