Chapitre 65: Dangerous Game
"This is so stupid!" Zuna yelled out without taking her eyes away from her phone.
"What is?" Arius looked over her shoulder.
"This novel! Everyone knows that you're supposed to be nice to the person you love, and yet this character is doing the opposite!" Zuna complained with extreme seriousness, not knowing what would soon occur.
"Maybe... they are onto something." Arius moved 'round to front of Zuna and leaned down. He cupped her face with his hands and got real close.
"What are yo-?" Her face turned red instantly, unaccustomed to the sudden closeness.
"You're ugly." He spoke, and in effect, Zuna's face darkened.
"Then what does that make you? Hideous?"
"Yea, I look atrocious.
"..."

A box came in the mail, Arius and Zuna were extremely eager to get it open. Arius tore the cardboard and pulled out a vial of clear liquid with a blue tint after carefully unwrapping it. Earlier in the week, He had sent a non-detoxified Haima stem to one of the cloud labs, along with the instructions to extract the poison and send it back. He had the authority to do so, even if the lab didn't know who he was. Today, was sunday, and after the murder incident, Asrael had stayed home for the rest of that week. Asrael also wasn't around today, he was hanging out with Chrysa and Beth.
"Aright, let's burn it!" Zuna had her eyes sparkling.
"Not yet, we need to get rid of the paralysis effect, which is rather easy." Arius smiled like usual, as he quickly took out a jug of a clear liquid that was rather thick from the cupboard. "Dante. Get me the eye dropper."
The small boy who had been watching nodded, and started rummaging through a drawer. When he found what he was looking for, he passed it to the man. Although he didn't know what they were doing, he wanted to be of some help.
It took only a few drops of the stuff, though it didn't really have an apparent changes. "Done." As soon as Arius said so, Zuna snatched it up and looked at it with admiration.
"Arius, you are playing a dangerous game." Eirik didn't know what it was, but the way she looked at it raised too many red flags.
"It's not dangerous." Arius shrugged, but as he did so, he himself felt the strong foreboding of her next actions.
She turned on the stove, and held the vial over the burning flame. Was she stupid!? Arius was dumbfounded, he momentarily stared at her before going to turn off the stove.
"What?" Zuna she looked up at him with an indescribable discontent.
"What do you mean 'what'? Do you want to breath it in!?"
"It isn't an aphrodisiac yet, is it?" She furrowed her eyebrows confusedly.
"Burning it activates it!!"
"Oh..." Zuna bobbed her head in understanding, she seemed to always embarrass herself infront of Arius.
"It's fine, just go open a window. It gets into the air easily and fast, as well as being extremely potent."
"I got it!" Danted hurried to the window closest.
"You… gave her an aphrodisiac?" Eirik couldn't be more mortified. "Are you retarded?"
"Hey! That word is offensive to say!" Zuna commented, although Arius wouldn't put it past her to use the word herself.

Tacky77 I usually write 400-700 characters per chapter, but is it better to have longer chapters less often, or shorter chapters more often? (Another chapter will be up tomorrow btw)
