Shi Yao stood at the door, staring in the direction of the master bedroom. Her fingers gripped tightly onto the handle of her luggage.
She didn't hear what her parents were arguing about, but she could tell that they seemed to have made a move. Something fell to the ground, producing a sharp cracking sound.
Shi Yao pursed her lips silently, as though she had never returned home before. She closed the door softly, pulled her luggage, and entered the elevator.
After exiting the residential area, Shi Yao randomly found a direction and dragged her luggage along aimlessly. She didn't know how long she had been walking for, nor did she know where she was going.., it was only when she was too tired to continue walking that she finally stopped.
At this moment, the sky was already dark, and the streetlights by the street lit up one after another.
