Hello, I think it's about time for me to address everyone haha.

First and foremost, I would like to apologize for having the novel go on hiatus for ten months. There are a lot of reasons I can give, but I won't bore you with those. As a web novel reader myself, I know how disappointing it is when a series suddenly stops updating, so I'm really sorry for giving you such an experience.

Now to talk about the future of this series, there are many people who have talked to me about this before, and these are the three main points concerning it:

1) This series doesn't have a lot of reader

2) This series is not profitable and it's unlikely to become profitable because of 1

3) No one else will pick up this series because of 1 and 2

Basically, I'm earning less than 1 USD for each chapter I translate, and it takes me 30 to 60 minutes to translate a chapter properly. I used to have an editor whom I was paying wages to, but I was spending more than what I was earning, so in the end, I had no choice but to let her go.

So, my current intention is that I want to finish this series, especially since it's one of the series that I love and I have already come so far in it, completing a third of it.

That being said, I still need to make a living and pay for my bills, so currently, I'm working on three series at once, including BTY. As such, the time I can devote to BTY is really limited, and to be honest, it isn't high on the priority list because it's not what that pays, and it's unlikely to ever pay. If I really have to describe it, it would be more of a hobby.

But still, I don't think it'll be fair to keep you waiting endlessly on this series as I work a snail's pace on this, so I would like to at least make a promise you can hold me accountable to (and bug me on Discord for if I fail to fulfill them).
