The person the manager met was none other than Chiaki who was working as a waitress in the cafe they visited.

"Chiaki, it's me! Shinobu!"

"I didn't expect to see you here! Are you working here Shinobu?"

"Yeah. The owner owned different businesses and this time around, my work is to assist the waitresses here and act as one in the meantime."

"Oh? I heard you were a journalist and you were currently looking for a good scoop to tell the world."

"Ah, I quit on that job. Being a journalist in this situation is akin to suicide already. I still value my life and I want to earn money for myself. The job my boss gives is big enough for me and I have bonuses given to me by my boss, I am content with it already."
