Day 4th, the month of the wind, aka autumn
A smell of dried leaf filled everywhere as it was drifting along the wind.
After a few days ever since they arrived, Mingyue didn't go out of the hiding place even once.
"Yueyue, where are we currently?" Xiao Wu asked Mingyue as she was already bored with the surroundings for these few days.
There were only trees on the left and right with a river flowed nearby.
Ever since Xiao Wu woke up at the other day, she was asked to keep vigilance in the surroundings because Mingyue rested her body.
"You ask me, then who should be asked by me?" Mingyue rolled her eyes at Xiao Wu as Xiao Wu was always whining about the boredom these past few days. "At least you can find some of your favourite fruits, right?
". . . I know. But. . ."
"At least you are much better than my condition, right?" Mingyue showed a mischievous smile at Xiao Wu as she showed her stiff body to Xiao Wu.
". . ."
Xiao Wu couldn't say anything as she felt bad for Mingyue's current condition.
Even though Mingyue had explained that her condition was completely unrelated to Xiao Wu, she didn't want to believe it. No, she couldn't believe it. She believed that Mingyue was hiding the truth.
Her incapability made Mingyue fell into the danger. Xiao Wu couldn't forget that memory.
[If only I was stronger! If only I didn't lower my guard, that thing will not happen!]
Seeing the gloomy aura around Xiao Wu, Mingyue understood what crossed in Xiao Wu's mind.
"Fine, fine. Don't sulk anymore. My current condition is really not related with you" Mingyue chuckled a little as she thought that she was a little excessive in her joke. "You can ask Xiao Jing if you didn't believe me." Mingyue wore a gentle smile as if she feared to scare Xiao Wu again.
Xiao Wu only peeked at the sleeping Xiao Jing and she received the answer.
". . She didn't lie."
"I told you many times, right?" Mingyue chuckled after seeing the blank face on Xiao Wu.
"You tricked me!!!" Xiao Wu fumed as she pouted at Mingyue.
Mingyue just scratched her cheeks while Xiao Jing returned to her sleep.
"It's not exactly a lie, you know. My current condition is related to that Demonic Beast accident." Mingyue explained to Xiao Wu, but Xiao Wu was vigilant for the fear of another trick.
Mingyue understood Xiao Wu's way of thinking, but she didn't mind as she continued her explanation.
"Well, let's just summarized what happened before. After I told you to return to my body, both Xiao Jing and I were cornered. And after something amazing happened, my consciousness moved into Xiao Jing's body. Don't ask me the detail since I also don't understand."
"After that? The Demonic Beast was slain very easily." Mingyue made a bright smile at Xiao Wu, but Xiao Wu couldn't believe Mingyue's word as she looked at Xiao Jing.
[Oh my, when I am tricking you, you believed it. And when I told you the truth, you are doubting me. Seriously?] Mingyue rolled her eyes.
Mingyue didn't realize that her joke was usually aimed at Xiao Wu, and Xiao Wu believed many times.
"Okay, return to the story. After that, this big sister of yours brought all of us out of that damned place. And voila, here we are." Mingyue ended her story as she was not interested in telling Xiao Wu the detailed explanation.
". . . And?" Xiao Wu felt the story wasn't finished yet, but Mingyue absurdly stopped the story.
"And voila, here we are. While you are recuperating, I am thinking of how to return to my original body. There are too much detailed concepts, so I won't disclose it to both of you." Mingyue sighed as she was confused to what extent she could explain what happened to her.
"To make it simple, I can move my consciousness into your body. Of course I will gain the control of your body." While Mingyue began her explanation, Xiao Wu flinched as if she was being bullied.
"Why? Why are you the one to control?" Xiao Wu wore a brave front, but her four feet tremble as she stood tall.
"Oh girl, you are thinking it too shallow. Just think about it. When my consciousness in your body, what would happen to this body of mine? My original body?" Mingyue rolled her eyes as she patted her non-existent chest.
Seeing the silenced and confused Xiao Wu, Mingyue continued, "When that happened, this body will be in Hibernation. Well, it is something similar to hibernation, thus I call it Hibernation."
"Most of the basic vital function of the original body is fine. Of course without my consciousness, it is no different than a sleeping little girl. Too fragile without protection."
"And after I returned to the original body, voila. What you are seeing now is the result." Mingyue opened her hands as she showed it at Xiao Wu.
"Become a lazy girl?" Xiao Wu innocently answered while tilted her head a little.
". . . Sigh." Mingyue didn't want to waste her strength to banter with Xiao Wu, so she just let it slide.
She released all of the tension on her physical body.
[My sea of consciousness is a little different from the usual mortal one. It was able to return to my original body, unlike what I know from my previous life.]
[And when my sea of consciousness move out of my original body, my Immortal Soul will leave a fragment of its soul and followed my sea of consciousness. Maybe that was the reason why my sea of consciousness is capable to return to my original body?]
[And after my sea of consciousness returns to the original body, it feels like heavy. It is as if my body becomes a corpse for a few hours. Maybe the longer my sea of consciousness leave the original body, the original body will be as stiff as corpse?]
[I never expected my weak and feeble original body become weaker. How can such a thing happens?]
[But in the bright side, I am having no problem in fighting using Xiao Jing's body. ]
[In the dark side, my original body is very vulnerable. Too vulnerable. Sigh. . .] Mingyue closed her eyes as she rest her body.

Day 27th, the month of the wind, aka autumn
A settlement, far in the north of Mingyue's current position.
". . .Dad!" A young lady was looking at the back of the bunch of people that were leaving.
She had a tanned skin, but she was considered whiter compared to her peers and the bunch of people far in front of her.
There was a hint of stubbornness on her face, her eyebrow were furrowed as she looked at someone.
One man that rode a horse turned his head. He was surprised after seeing the young lady.
Other than surprised, there was a smiling expression as he looked at the young lady
"Little Yun." Leaving the bunch of people, the man brought his horse to the direction of the young girl.
He was a big guy with some scar on his body. He was bare-chested and wore a teeth necklace around his neck.
The little girl opened her mouth as she wanted to say something, but she held back her word many times. She wanted to say something, but she knew what was appropriate and inappropriate.
After some inner fighting in her mind, in the end, the little girl pouted and said, ". . . Be careful. ."
The man jumped off from his horse as the man hugged the little girl tightly. Even though his hug was suffocating, the little girl didn't mind it as she hugged back.
"Un. . I will be careful." The man released his hug as he immediately got on the horse; He went to his comrade in the front.
He didn't stay too long with her daughter. He was reluctant to leave his daughter alone, but it was his duty.
[Because I have to protect my family because I have to protect my home. That is my, Liao An's obligation as the tribe leader. And in this way, I can protect my daughter.] Liao An clenched his fist as he swore in his mind that he would definitely return safely.
The little girl stood alone. He waited for their departure until they shadow disappeared and blended with the forest.
[Dad. Promise me that you will definitely return safely.]
The little girl prayed to the tribe's totem for her father's safety. She believed that her dad would be fine, everything will be fine and they would return.
"Liao Yun, no need to be sad. Your father, with the other tribesmen, will definitely return safely" A bare-chested young man stood beside the little girl, Liao Yun.
He wanted to console Liao Yun as he tapped Liao Yun's shoulder, but it was a wasted effort.
She was not a weak girl.
Evading the incoming hand, Liao Yun spun a little as she glared. "Humph, don't you dare to touch me! I know they will definitely return victorious as usual. It is only a mere Resealing Ceremony, there is nothing to be scared."
Liao Yun's expression changed 180 degrees. Her early solemn expression changed into a confidence look in one breath.
But the bare-chested young man was already used with the antics of Liao Yun, so he didn't get offended.
"Ha ha ha, that's right. We have been doing the Resealing Ceremony every five years, so it was nothing weird for the tribe leader and the tribe's warrior to be victorious." The bare-chested young man could only show his wry smile.
"No need to repeat what I know, retard To Fu, Stinky Tofu. Do you think that I am as stupid as you think? Liao Yun taunted Fu Tao, but he just smiled at her replies. "Humph, I will just return to my hut."
"It is not a bad idea. It is much better than you sneak out alone." Fu Tao nodded as he praised Liao Yun, but Liao Yun thought the opposite
She was taunted! She was challenged!
"You!" Liao Yun glared at Fu Tao, she gritted her teeth, but she didn't give any other expression. "Fine! I will return. I will just sleep until Dad is coming home!" Liao Yun strode to her hut as she was annoyed by the little fly Fu Tao.
Fu Tao only smiled wryly after seeing Liao Yun's temperament.
[Tribe Leader, I don't think I keep her from running everywhere.]
Fu Tao just sighed as he stood near the Tribe Leader's tent.
[Sigh. It is only for ten days.]
