After Eli left the ICU room, both siblings didn't utter a single word as if they would rather be somewhere else than to stay in the same room with their father, especially Ririna. She had suffered for too long because of him.

When both of their parents divorced, she was only six years old; Jared was four and had recently started attending preschool. Her young mind couldn't understand why Mommy and Daddy were fighting, yelling at each other in the other room. She had always thought that people get married and have children because of love.
