When the little girl woke up for the second time, she couldn't identify where she is. She looked around and saw several children sleeping beside her. Where is she? Where is this place? She opened her mouth to ask someone what's happening when she noticed that she couldn't make any sound.
Her hands touched her throat and tried to say something again but failed. She cried again. What kind of nightmare is this?
The first time she woke up, she saw her mother dead and their home burn down into ashes. Now, she is somewhere, detained in a room full of other children. Some are sleeping on the cold floor, the others are silently crying not making a sound just like her.
She sat in a corner of the room alone. Her tiny hands folded on her lap. Her tears keep falling from her eyes no matter how much she tried to calm herself. Remembering her deceased mother, she bit her lower lip until it bled. There's no one to save her now.
Did we reach the 1.5k milestone for the third bonus chapter? I haven't checked it yet. Here's the daily update for today. Please keep on supporting this novel by voting up! I'm not sure if you're liking where this novel is going. I really intend it to be a little dark with crime and mystery involved. c57 and the first half of this chapter is Ririna's memories, the man at the end of the chapter is the other competitor.
