Gods exist. The supreme God Oda created all other gods. He then created mankind for him to rule and for them to build their civilization. There was a total of 1000 gods but after 250 turned against Oda there were only 700 left. Oda's first born son Ken the god of shadows devised a plan unlike the failed previous betrayers. He imprisoned Oda in a Cave no human nor God knew of. He then took his place as the god of gods. Every God except his 4 demi god children disagreed. Those 4 were Nicolas the god of Heroes, Micheal the god of Light, Jeremy the God of Monsters and Lin the god of the sword. Theses four defied Ken but were all ultimately defeated two of the four were killed and two imprisoned in dungeons under mountains. Unlike Oda Ken wasn't a fair god but a greedy and harsh one who took all for himself. Humans began to hate him deeply but Ken didn't care until he learned Humans formed clans in which they learned a specific type of magic. They became a threat so Ken wiped out all the clan humans. He declared that no human may use magic for personal usage only work. Humans still had hope for a prophecy spoke of a legendary hero coming to save them and releasing the 2 imprisoned gods in order to free Oda. -
