In Milan's research room, Tian Kaiwen witnessed a transforming mecha—a great invention in the history of mechas. Its unique bio-state metal material left him greatly astonished. Meanwhile, the cruel war raged on the Milock Star. The Gacharin Empire intensified its ground offensive, and the air power of the Leray Federation was severely damaged. The connections between cities were severed, and many areas fell into enemy hands. Nevertheless, the federal soldiers resisted tenaciously, and underground resistance organizations emerged like sparks of fire. In order to reclaim the Newton Galaxy, the Federation assembled its fleet for a strong offensive. The Newton Galaxy local fleet, as the vanguard, suffered heavy losses but successfully broke through the blockade, opening up a passage for the follow-up troops. Meanwhile, in the laboratory, Tian Kaiwen made full use of the rich resources of the central computer, frantically learning various skills, from psychology to the assassin's invisibility techniques and various military tutorials. He absorbed knowledge avidly, constantly improving himself. As time went by, Professor Boswell's research on the simulated war network entered a crucial stage. Tian Kaiwen participated in it, being responsible for data calculation and the production of simulation cabins. When this simulated war network named "Real War" was completed and opened, Tian Kaiwen remained undefeated in three hundred simulated battles by virtue of the unique tactics he had accumulated during training, thus becoming the "sneaky leader" in the eyes of everyone. Later, Nia and Meiduo, who had escaped from the battlefield with Tian Kaiwen, found him. It turned out that their battlefield recorders had been taken away by the imperial army, and Tian Kaiwen's disappearance prevented them from returning to their units. After learning that the person Nia was looking for was Tian Kaiwen, Milan informed her of his whereabouts. Eventually, the front-line command post retrieved the information from Tian Kaiwen's battlefield recorder. P.S: Each of these short stories are not connected at this point and are in vastly different Genres ———— The first short story, A real fight, is a frantic fight for survival and meaning. The second story, The Martial Way, is what would be the end of a climatic arc of a xianxia novel. The third story, Cravings, is a calm thriller between a married couple. The fourth story, The World Eater is coming, is a heart warming drama about cults and how to treat your children. The fifth story, Champion of Earth, is a survival game between Earth's mightest martial artists. It has a dash of sci-fi nonsense mixed in. Oh and its currently incomplete and will be one of my longer stories. -
The Blood of the Dragon {The Golden Legacy}
David slowly opened his eyes and saw that he was now a small child riding on a dragon but not just any dragon, a golden dragon and behind him was a woman holding on to him tightly with tears falling down from her eyes. Before David could raise his head and see the face of the woman the dragon landed, landing in front of a familiar orphanage David recognized from the broken fragments of his memory he was able to recall. David upon seeing the orphanage realized that where he was and everything, he was seeing was memory of his past but this one, unlike the others, wasn’t an unclear broken fragment, it felt real, almost as though everything he was seeing was really happening. The woman then with tears still falling down from her eyes carried David and came down from golden dragon, revealing her face to be none other than Ibierana, the Golden Dragon Warrior. David upon seeing her face was beyond shocked, wondering how he knew the Golden Dragon Warrior from his past but finally realizing something, something everything from the temple calling out to him to his ability to control all four elements and even the golden power he used against the elemental beast pointed to, something he had ignore to just refused to accept all together, thinking that it was an impossibility.
