I am all for it. Let Boris rage not like he did when he awakened his DF more controllable this time. Maybe Akainu attacking the Tree of Knowledge and Evacuation Ship (without robbin in it) would be like the last straw. He would step out of his lazy character vibe and show them all why u dont provoke Whitebeard Pirates. (just a suggestion and good luck making the chapter)
I think he means Kabuto that he killed he was technically a "genin". But maybe u are right might be the guy Gara killed.
The unstoppable marching of time continued as everyone prepared themselves. Jiraiya continued training Naruto while Kakashi trained Sasuke. Most of the other Genins trained for the finals as well, though one of them was already dead.

Oh wow wasnt expecting an answer from the author really. I get where u coming from but a comparison new world vs 4 blues/paradise pirate is always disappropriate. In New world every pirate has some exp of haki. In 4 blues not even recognised in most cases. In paradise known to some forces but still not that widespread considering logia users roam free and undisputed most of the time.
