Fujino here did “technically” pass the exam; he just never attended the ceremony, so he never a fully-fledged demon slayer. As for the “Genya situation,” remember, he never watched the Demon Slayer anime; therefore, he doesn’t know that a dude who can turn into demons like him exists. He’s simply paranoid that the Corp would hunt him down should they catch wind of him. And that fear is justified when he got attacked by Shinobu because she thought he was a demon.
Sorry, but i’ve been busy lately. Computer Science isn’t making my life easy with all the assignments and projects I have to do.
