"And where might you be rushing off to in such a hurry, young Lord?" said the samurai who was in his early forties with olive skin and a strong build. He had a dark man bun with a receding hairline and a short stubble beard. He wore a red steel armour with orange lining for Royal Guards and also a pair of waraji (straw sandals). Painted on the left side of his chest was the kanji character: 将 (General). Two swords–a longer katana and a shorter wakizashi were sheathed on his waist.

Great romcom with slice of life elements that reads like I'm watching the actual anime. I love the author's writing and storytelling! A must read for sure!

It's interesting to follow a morally grey character for a change in a genre such as this one. Love the villain MC and can't wait to see the havoc he'll cause. A must read indeed!
