I put on all my armor and used the [Greater Teleportation] spell to open a portal to the Carne village. The moment I stepped out of the portal, I took a few moments to look at the scene before me. There was the wounded Emri with Nemu in her arms and two soldiers behind them. Enri was wrapped in her instinct to protect her sister and was resigned to her fate, waiting for the attack from the soldiers. But that attack never came. I raised my hand and closed my palm, activating psionic magic. The soldiers' heads were crushed as if they had been squeezed with a vice, and their brains spilled out. When Enri opened her eyes, she saw me and instantly blushed. She was just looking at me, as if she had forgotten everything for a moment. Her sister's tremors and sobs brought her back to reality. She looked around and saw the soldiers who had caused her father's sacrifice and who had chased them, lying lifeless with shattered heads. She was looking at me and the dead soldiers as if she had seen a UFO.
