Eternal Online is a highly popular MMO game, played on PC by millions of players around the world. However, one day, thousands of players who logged in at the same time were suddenly sucked into the game world. They found themselves trapped in their avatars’ bodies, unable to log out, and facing a cruel new rule: If a player dies in this world, they will not respawn. Instead, their soul will be locked in the game world and become an NPC without any memory of their past life. The NPC will continue to live in the game world, playing a new role as part of the ecosystem of that world. The game world has turned into a battlefield. Large guilds, which were once only competing for dominance on the leaderboards, are now trying to seize control of major cities to control resources and players. This conflict forces players to choose sides—either join a large guild for protection or try to survive alone as a solo player.
