haha, Miranda was always a Grinch
The Unraveling of Leah Garcia is an exquisite read that managed to grasp my interest in only the first chapter, and stoke it all the way through the novel (still waiting anxiously for more chapters). Leah is the fun outgoing protagonist, struggling with the woes of a new job, her tumultuous love life and a terrible no-good boss. The writing is one of the best aspects of it; It's direct, swift and simple, unlike much of the books I've read lately. The novel is told in Leah's POV and it adds a certain quirkiness to the story that makes it even more enjoyable. The conversations between Leah and her love interest are always fun and leave a smile plastered on my face. All-in-all, it's a great quick read that I'd recommend to everyone
This is why a healthy dose of cynicism is crucial. L Leah
