Especially the getting power from cosmic entities method like from Dormamu. Besides, after the first invasion, I'd imagine it'll be pretty easy to convince his parents to move.

My point is that if he did go for a power up, it would be the same as throwing away the chance for a normal, nonlife threatening, and comfortable life. The magic route would make it so that he would be expected to defend earth from extradimensional threats. While getting Spiderman's powers automatically make the inheritors his enemies/hunters. Not to mention getting any experimental drug is risker and harder than most stories make it out to be. And that's not even mentioning how he might not be compatible with whatever drug he takes. My point for bringing up the shonen protag point was saying how not everyone is willing to go through all the challenges and risks that it takes to get power especially when you're a normal human. Double so in a comic book universe where even if you become a planet buster, some random universe destroyer can just pop up out of nowhere and destroy you with no trouble at all. Whether he goes for power ups or not, he will have to rely on luck/plot amour to survive due to how ridiculous Marvel is. So why bother? Either way it doesn't really matter since this mc has so much plot amour that power was literally handed to him while he was lying in bed.

Why would he? Hes living a very comfortable life with a loving family. Not everyone is a shounen protagonist that has unlimited willpower to keep going forward nor are they a fanfiction protagonist where the thought of dying apparently gives them the ability to conquer whatever setting they're in. Not to mention alot of people just want to live a normal life. I know hes not going to stay away from the action and power fantasy stuff because that would be boring for us to read however my point is that the stories we have read really skewed what the average person is like and is able to accomplish.

Stay neutral. He still has people to lead and there is no way present day people will be okay with a city full of dragons appearing and not submitting to their rule. Plus it would be super awkward to try and include him in fairy tail but at the same time, Erza and Natsu being there would definitely make him not wipe out the guild.
