This, my dear reader, is what I'd call the Doraemon syndrome, where Bell would either forget or not bother to use alternative gadgets if the one he intended to use was unavailable. It's just like in the Doraemon Dinosaur movie when they were worried about the take-copter battery but forgot that Doraemon had many more flying-related gadgets :))
"I had wanted to use Gourmet Cloth, but I forgot to ask for it back from my Goddess," Bell explained, arriving with a tray holding two bowls of chicken soup. He offered a sheepish smile. "I hope you don't mind my cooking."

There are many things that I changed in this fic, honestly. In my mind, I wrote it as if Freya had charmed them to avoid causing any casualties, instead of outright ignoring the crowd. Some bruises and broken limbs were okay enough :))
She sprang into action, positioning her body and rocketing towards the Hellhound at full speed. In a fraction of a second, she unsheathed her sword and executed a swift spin. The Hellhound stood no chance against Ais's assault as her blade sliced through its body, including its monster stone. The Hellhound's form disintegrated into nothingness once its monster stone was destroyed.

Hestia couldn't help but feel dumbfounded. Her and Loki's relationship could be summarized by two polar opposites that couldn't mix very well. Loki was rich; she wasn't. Loki had a big Familia; she hadn't. Loki's Familia was the top Familia in Orario; hers was at the bottom of the barrel. So on and so forth.

It can't retrieve anything that does not exist in its current time period. If I recall correctly, there is also a limitation against pulling someone who was unwilling, although I need to double-check the accuracy of this last part.
After getting ready, Hestia was now set to attend the banquet. Her beautiful warm appearance suited that of a Goddess of Hearth. In her hands, she held a small pink purse that Bell insisted she always carry with her, just in case, as Bell told her.

As one opened the door, they were met with a small room fitted with several buttons, each marked with a number.
