My bad the Scarlet King may only be 1A.
I'm curious to see if he makes the same decision as Featharine or risk becoming boundless once (if) he reaches the peak this story (or DC) because of the 50/50 chance to lose all of it or achieve the ultimate freedom by becoming the OOO(AKA God) and if he does risk it how the author will handle it there being only a few popular characters on that level due to their nature for example Azathoth(Cuthulhu Mythos) The Presence(DC) Yahweh(The Bible) I AM THAT I AM(World of Darkness) and a few SCPs like Scarlet King or Supreme Author which are all complex characters with their own story to "be" supporting their existence so unless you're planning on piggybacking on DC like The Bible did with RL or My instant death skill is too strong in another world did with. The End.(No this is not a mistake it was the simplest way to show what I meant to those who haven't read the story) then you better start cooking up some good plot centered around rob and the origin of all story's (Earth) to add some original elements to this.(Really The End now)
So if he's falling or he needs to fly to save someone he cares about can that act as a trigger? Because I'd find it rather annoying if him not being able to is used to force the plot when he can cast something like "zip it" for the first time casually with minimal necessity.
Can't he just cast "Flight" on himself?
I like like to imagine he meant what he wrote and was just excited at the concept of a spell that can instantly replenish his "wand" to "full mana"

The way I see it his main trait is his passion for magic going so far as to study his own accidental magic and it completely overwhelmed his other traits for example his griffindor side when he ran out in the middle of the night on a hunch and then went completely berserk but later he still looked back to that moment to remember the feeling of using that magic even if it was traumatic (i know you said he developed photographic memory but he still has to "flip back" to that moment) then his Hufflepuff side when he chose to "abandon" his friend in favour of studying magic as for Slytherin he hasn't really shown any of the traits of that house his only connection to it is his mother but even she said not to go. In my opinion he's 45% raven 25% lion 25% badger and 5% snake and he himself said he doesn't care as long as it's not Slytherin so he should be in Ravenclaw.
