I don't usually leave reviews on any of the fics I read but this story just has a special place on my heart so I've decided to leave one. I have binged all current 269 chapters across the span of 3 days and I can only sing praises about this absolute masterpiece. A tip to anyone who wants to read this story is turning off paragraph comments, because the stupidity of some readers got me genuinely livid at the start of the story xD This story is a more realistic take on the Naruto world. A random, normal guy is thrusted onto the body of a kid in his last year of ninja academy without almost any memories of the previous body. He has to scamper and struggle to learn everything other kids learned through their whole lives within a single year. And struggle is a huge theme of the story. The mc is an actual underdog. Every single bit of knowledge and power he gets he has to claw at with blood, sweat and tears which I'll admit makes the start of the story very slow yet ABSOLUTELY worth it. It's incredibly satisfying seeing the mc slowly grow, and although he does have some advantages which I will not spoil, they are anything but cheats and don't really substract any merit from the things he accomplishes. The constant struggle does make the story quite slow so I'll say it is not for everyone, but at the same time makes everything very fleshed out. This fic has handsdown the best side characters in any fic I have ever read, they all feel like actual people, they grow and develop like the mc too. It also has shinobis who are actual ninjas. Stealth, assassination and cunning are big themes and plans are constantly in motion whitin every chapter, which gives the world the harsh vibe the concept for Naruto is: a world of warring superpowered killers. So if you are a fan of that, hop right in. And again, if you are a person with the slightest hint of common sense trying to read this, ignore the brainrotted comments of people who can only read op harem fics, they are incredibly annoying but in the end are just that. The read and wait absolutely pays off. And if you don't like it just drop it and don't contribute to the dumbass comments saying the mc is incompetent when competing with people who have ten-times his experience handling chakra and fighting. He ends up surpassing and shutting them all up, so don't worry ;) SO all in all, a genuinely 10/10 experience, at least for me, and I encourage you to give it a chance if you stumble uppon this humble author cock-sucking review, you've got plenty to read and more will come out as you binge, so what are you waiting for?
