and yet these simple ramblings gave so much depth to his character, motivation, worldview etc... So, compared to all the brain rot that accumulate in Webnovel everyday, I'll give this chapter a solid 9/10
red-skinned man. a mystery character for now. add one more eye in your imagination and you're set
On a sandy beach, a red-skinned man in a Hawaiian shirt and shorts stood gazing at the distance with binoculars. Waves of ocean water grazed his feet, but he didn't budge from his spot, beads of sweat forming on his brow. In a world teeming with quirks and their users, it wasn't hard to find someone with red skin, but what was strange about this man was his lack of a head. Instead of a normal face, he had a pair of horns floating above his neck, and a pair of eyes hovering in the middle of them. He looked very bizarre indeed.

And it only furthered Tao's astonishment. Aito wasn't a dragon who commanded mana with every breath, he wasn't a divine spawn who wielded the world's laws from their mother's womb… he was a simple human. Okay, maybe his ancestry is a bit complicated, but his mother's bloodline could hardly come close to the vibrant Qi Aito was wielding right now.

why would you think that?
"…" Yuuki snorted, evidently displeased as she focused on her tea. She didn't bother reminding Tao of the two hundred-plus escorts and crew, who went missing along with the cargo. Yuuki knew that Tao understood the situation perfectly, and she was better suited for making decisions under stress.

The plan was flawed to the extreme, as even after Tao had undoubtedly used power beyond what was allowed on earth, she was still here, not looking pressured in the slightest.

She relented in the condition that Atio would start attending elementary school at the age of 6. The smirk Tao and Yuuki showed after that incident made Aito rethink his decision. Somehow, he felt like he had been outwitted, by his mother.

He's not a villain per se. just someone forced by circumstances and... the author.
And Rihan Nura had full confidence in his ability to escape any situation, although it was unfortunate that he was held back from completing his goal by a bunch of mortals, he could only blame his own carelessness. His mind briefly passed with the idea of taking the mortals he incapacitated as hostage, but making an eternal hostility when he could simply escape wasn't on his agenda at the moment.

So far, it's Good. I'd recommend author working a bit more on his wording, and leavings details vague. I know a fair bit of people reading fanfictions have nothing but rudimentary knowledge of the original fiction, so it would be better to add in a bit more details. Not so much as to make the details redundant, but to make the story a bit more accessible to readers. Then again, given the narrative I'd assume the story would shed light into the details as the story progresses. Holy Mother of God, why is the post button not lighting up? is this not enough words? Welp never mind, it was because I didn't give a rating to the translation quality. In my defense, It's not a translation, So, why should I? Or is IT?!!
