Well, no, it wouldn't be bad if it was written with reason and a good storyline behind it. If it is reincarnation, I would guess it would be another one of those marry sue ff's. but for reanimation in the war, he needs to have significance beforehand, where the reader already followed his feats. his fame. his struggles. to be able to feel excited about this prospect.
