(AN: So Raven finally gave in and decided to talk to Mark, it's hard not to, they are both understandably lonely people. Finally a proper introduction for Galatea, someone who I want to make less comically evil. But yeah if you can guess the barrier has caused a time dilation which just makes it so I can advance the plot without worrying about other milestones that would be reached in that time, such as Kara's birth. Expect more Mark and Raven interactions as well as Raven tutoring Mark in the usage of his powers. I hope you enjoyed the chapter)

(AN: I think we are finally getting close to the meat and potatoes of this arc. I appreciate you all for letting me cook because I realise a lot of you probably don't know where the fuck this is going 😂. But it involves Raven and a certain bad parent, with a subplot of the Viltrumites. I feel like I do owe you a hint as to where this story is going. The necklace Mark is wearing has been draining him, preventing his memories from coming back and causing chaos which in turn also fuels the necklace (Car crash, boat capsize). The necklace is charged now and the final part of the plan will commence soon, it's gonna get kinda fucked up but it's what I'd expect from them if I'm honest.)

There are more parts to this fight than you’re considering. Aura doesn’t make him invincible he’s just very strong, but being careless could get him killed. He’s fighting two Kingsguard they are in the top 10 fighters in Westeros for a reason. He’s also on a battlefield where anyone could take advantage of any lapse in his defence. When using ryu the nen flows to different spaces making it thicker in some places while thinner in others. It’s how they attack and defend most of the time. If he uses up his aura too much then even regular Aura uses might be able to penetrate his aura. There are a lot more pieces to think about when on a battlefield it’s not just a straight on fight you have to consider what you’ll do after which is why no one starts off using their full power.

Smut at times is part of the story, the natural progression of a relationship. That being said I don’t usually do that much smut that it interferes with the story. The worst when it comes to that is probably my Viking one but that’s a bit different.

Jace is pretty single-minded and every since Valyria he is fearless. He came face to face with death and accepted it, after that how could he be afraid of anything. Why would he want weak abilties? Plus they’re trying to leave everyone into a trap. By slaughtering aura users he’d be turning the tide of battle and the other army would retreat ruining the plan. It was already explained when they went over the battle plan.
Daemon moved through the battlefield with deadly efficiency, his sword cutting down enemy soldiers with brutal precision. A soldier lunged at him with a spear, but Daemon sidestepped the attack and brought his sword down, cleaving the man's head from his shoulders. Blood sprayed, and the body crumpled to the ground. Daemon didn't pause, moving on to his next target. Three soldiers charged at him, weapons raised. Daemon met their charge head-on. His sword flashed, severing the arm of the first soldier at the elbow. The man screamed, blood spurting from the wound, but Daemon was already driving his blade into the chest of the second attacker. The third soldier hesitated, fear in his eyes, but Daemon didn't give him a chance. He spun, his sword cutting through the man's throat in a spray of blood.
