I think the real magic is the server's ability to make perfect pancakes. Making really good pancakes is HARD. Every pan cooks different and the first pancake is allways wierd and the temperature and texture is near impossible to get completely perfect.
I let out a satisfied sound as the sweetness of the pancake completely overtakes my taste buds.
