Kaido wouldn't chop off odens arm like that.. as much as kaido hated them, he respected the strong, he had honor. he hated winning with help, I think you should've had big mom do that since she wouldn't care. good story so far, though. I'm really enjoying it

or we can just say we're having a different discussion because we see this issue from a diff perspective. Because I've had the same argument about the word crusade and how people misuse the word by using it in the wrong context or use it as hyperbole. because that's also a possibility where I'm talking the literal theological meaning and you're talking the more inflated meaning for the terminology that conflates the meaning to more than it's literal intention. that does happen, and its not uncommon, but it doesn't mean they didn't misuse the word.

"Jihad." A word that sent shivers through Jon's body, he shivered from head to toe, he felt as if a mountain was resting on his head. The overwhelming feeling of fear welled up in his chest, cries of the dead and prayers echoed in his ears like a chorus of completely opposite dualities of good and evil.

did I say it was just war and armed conflict? no, I didn't. and I already said I understood that argument, but I'm also stating firmly that you're showing a deep misunderstanding. you're right. There is inner and outer jihad, but what we're doing now, this discussion, is not an example of jihad. that's a massive misrepresentation of the truth of the word where you take the english translation and forget the connotative and theological implications. Don't try and make that jump. this is an example of my point. English speakers use words from different cultures with different theological meanings and completely misunderstand because they use their own cultural interpretations of the meanings. unless youre saying you are a Muslim, and you follow the religion, then I'll take that back because since this discussion involves the theology of the word and you are of the religion in the discussion, then it'd be a very loose and stretched argument for it being jihad but even then it'd be debatable.

let me clarify that I do understand what you mean. I also understand your point and I know not all who use it mean it in the most "extreme" way. youre technically not wrong. but you're also technically wrong as well. It doesn't change the theological implications and connotations even made in the quran.... it's not like I'm saying all Muslims or people who say jihad are "you know what" -- im just saying that the word has a deeper meaning than that poor English translation.

this is a wonderful example of rhetorical manipulation and omissions of facts. amazing. yes it means to struggle for your faith, and you can deflect to "stereotypes" and blame "extremists" but it only proves you dont understand the implications. nor do you understand the actual theological uses and context. you and the original are speaking half truths, maybe from basic misunderstanding, and using poorly understood non-contextual English translation to imply your own understanding. this is the problem with English speakers using words for other ciltures and faiths. you make a translation and forget to understand the culture and theology used for those words. it's like people who misunderstand the translation of the 10 commandments and their explanations, meaning they don't understand the difference between "lawful" and "unlawful" murder.

this is getting repetitive. I appreciate the new ch, but it's basically just the same reaction over and over again.

well, technically, both. one religions gods is another religions demons.

"By the way, do you know that apparently there's a powerful deity called Asmodeus? He's also called Ashmedai if I'm not mistaken," he inquired from the snake.

Mrs. Weasley led Ginny out, with Mr. Weasley following behind, still looking greatly affected. After Professor McGonagall left as well, Dumbledore smiled and awarded some points to Harry, specifically praising his decisiveness and bravery.
