i grew up with the anime, but the problem is i was rewatching the anime, and becuse i didn't see any potions i nievly thought 'oh potions must not be a thing in the anime' like how TMs arn't a thing, or how Revive arn't a thing, i just forgot about them and by the time i found out it was too late for me to retcon stuff
