Yup, experience points from quest are terrible, but monsters give more. If you wanted some reference, think of it like the game, MapleStory and Lost Ark. Though I based them more heavily toward MapleStory since I've been grinding it. The experience points in the game was a drag, with quest giving little to nothing, but monsters exp gives a lot.

Heh, good to know and I wasn’t claiming you like goody-two shoes from statement. It was vague but what I meant was that I’m not writing a MC that everyone would love and support. He’s just not in that kind of setting of being “morally right” like most goody two shoes MC. He’s the type that tread around the borderline of good and bad.
If you were reading the novel for the goody-two shoes hero MC, who will only do righteous thing. Then I must apology because you're in the wrong novel. Yes, MC is indeed a very flaw character and somewhat contradictory in terms of logical process, but those were all risks he's willing to take to get a head start. Seriously, if you expect the MC to play by the rule, obey everything, then how is he going to achieve his objective? When have you seen any protagonist achieve their revenge against a Behemoth by playing safe and following the law? Maybe you have seen them, but the reality is, they aren't realistic and it's a pipe dream for that to even happen. Overall, the MC was never depicted as a "good guy" or anything. He's in the gray area, and it's up to the readers such as you to interpret who he is. But one thing is positive, the MC doesn't seek approval from anyone. He knows he's not a good buy, but there's also a bottom line that he won't ever cross,
