With everything that was going on, Kellen had a gut feeling that the gate was going to jump to A Class. He was sure the others thought the same as well. Everything was pointing to it, and that only made Kellen more afraid. How were they supposed to fight a gate that hadn't been cleared before at a lower level? Who was going to do it? Kellen couldn't think of one person who was suitable for the role, outside of his Uncle who had been dead for almost 8 years.

After the class, Brent waved Kellen off to go to his guiding session with the Captain. Throughout the day, Kellen had been texting with the Captain. He thought it was rude to fully change the Captain's name in his phone, so he had changed it to B.D. Now that he had the Captain's phone number, they were able to communicate easier, meaning that Kellen knew that the Captain had finished his most recent meeting, and was heading down to the medical bay for their guiding session.
