I really wish author would reread what they wrote, not what they wanted to write. There is so many small issues that could be easily fixed. I keep complaining, I know. I should stop reading it. I like the idea of the story but get so frustrated reading it. It’s like trying to read a story written by a kid that does not know how to spell and does not keep their thoughts straight.
It’s so inconsistent. Flash back of father dead said she had brother, but aunt and cousin all she had left. Pretty sure she is suppose to have brother, cousin, aunt… but who knows

If you do as this describes it goes from screaming to ahhhh like at drs office. This changes the feel for me. I would just take the pulling tongue forwards out.
