It’s the way it’s worded. It feels like if certain events come to pass, then boom game over roll the credits. It would feel and read better if like whatever it is the system warns about happens, then the world ends not by some outer influence that juts cuts the cord but comes naturally like Vaatu eventually being freed then destroying the world. It adds more weight like this cause we don’t even know what will doom the world but involving vaatu and other dark spirits would give us and the protag some hints that could drive the story in a better direction that would satisfy the people who want it to change and the people who want to keep the plot point
