It really is, there is nothing that Ulfric can do at this point that will turn the tides so the rebellion is over, even if they haven’t completely won yet.

"The rebellion... is done." I proclaim wistfully, startling many of the men and women unsubtly listening in "I just hope it was fucking worth it."

Wa wa, something that happens in real life also happened in a story but because I only like stories where the main character is an untouchable god this is completely unacceptable and I will compain about it.

Suddenly I felt my foot slip on a pool of blood, and for the briefest of moments my guard slipped with it. I almost sighed with resignation as the burned fist sailed for my face, no doubt about to cause me a whole lot of pain... only to suddenly stop as a sword of golden moonstone slipped under his armpit.

“Just Nord Warriors”… there is no such thing as “just a nord warrior”. Nords are the most ridiculous race in tamriel. They live at the conceptual centre of creation and will fight to the death for glory and honour and that’s not even mentioning that Nord’s are the ones who invented words in Dovahzul to make dragons experience Mortality and then banished an actual god into the future using a scroll formed at the start of creation

My muscles burned under the onslaught, even as a wall of both wind and flame skinned him alive, and my bones creaked even as the berserker was almost drained of blood by the dagger jutting out of his thigh.

Potion’s aren’t absolute, they can increase someone’s chances of survival and if made by a master they can do incredible things but restoring lost flesh and blood loss whilst removing any debris that may have gotten into the wound and fighting infection isn’t something any random potion can do

Almost as if summoned by Tullius' words, a man in Morthal livery rushed into the tent and almost fell on his face as he forced himself to stop running, he looked around in a panic before his eyes landed on me "Sir! Battlemage Tiberius took a javelin to the thigh, we are unsure if he will survive without immediate aid!"

Dragons are actual divine spirits. They are tiny portions of Akatosh’s soul that he split off and gave a physical form, any dragon will conceptually be above ebony unless a lot of effort is put into elevating that ebony.

How in Mephala's spidery sacks do you manage to break a weapon enchanted by ME of all people, a weapon enchanted specifically to take superhuman levels of punishment?! That thing was supposed to crush through ebony without chipping!

He doesn’t actually, not an actual army anyway, he is allowed to have armed soldiers but anything that is counted as an army isn’t allowed unless specific permission is given, or you are powerful enough to ignore the rules.

"Ducal guard force." I correct him with a raised finger, my tone shifting to the proper pomp of a grand nobleman "Can't have the good Emperor accusing me of treason, now can we?"

Only Falmer with that use magic can be converted back info Snow Elves, the other ones don’t have enough magicka in them to survive it

All of them being rather sharp eyed do to their experience and/or training, they could see quite clearly the small horde of feral Falmer attacking the walls with reckless abandon while numerous automaton spheres let loose their bolts under the watchful eye of about two dozen armored warriors, many of whom were armed with crossbows, and one of whom was currently producing the noise by throwing fireballs with... passable accuracy.

That was the entire point… it doesn’t work on Shadow Magic so despite the fact he can travel through shadows it doesn’t count as spacial manipulation.

She takes a moment to look around but the further she looks the more her despair grows as she realizes that each and every spot I had every stood on now held a rune meant to stop spatial disturbances, something which funnily enough didn't work on shadow movement.

“Smelling the silver”… she’s not a dog, and she just woke up from a multi millenia nap so she is completely out of it.

"I really have grown rusty." She mutters as she pointedly distances herself from the target of her questioning.
