Thanks. As for the recommendations, I can do the former, but add on a system... well, I'll try lol. --------------- ML: The Legendary Mechanic(not so much a System, but does have video game elements) Abyssal Lord of the Magi World The Academy’s Weakest Became A Demon-Limited Hunter The Second Coming of Gluttony(outdated but a classic) Surviving the Game as a Barbarian(a must read imo) Regression Is Too Much(a hidden gem. Unfortunately lacking in update stability. A rare regression w) Are You Crazy? You’re Telling Me This Is a Fugitive TV Show? (one of the few chinese system novels I think isn't straight trash) I Was a Sword When I Reincarnated (WN)(another classic) Chrysalis Shadow Slave A Stay-at-home Dad's Restaurant in An Alternate World(for a specific type of audience lol) Endless Horde: Through the Eyes of a Godking(give it a try) Infinite Mana in the Apocalypse(for some brainless fun) The Reincarnated Assassin is a Genius Swordsman The Lone SF Transmigrator in the Otherworld Forum(I'm addicted) That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime(LN and WN and manga. My all time favorite.) The Main Heroines are Trying to Kill Me(prepare to be depressed. Harem but SUPER worth it.) I Became the Tyrant of a Defense Game(a great read. just finished translating) The Lazy King(short but good. Might have to spend some time searching for a site to read it.) The Novel's Extra(not amazing imo, but as far as system novels go, it's pretty decent. Pretty sure there's a small harem though.) --------------- FL: Reincarnated as a Fox with a System Crossing to the Future, It's Not Easy to be a Man (behind Tensura(slime) this is my favorite novel. Not really system, but futuristic.) I Am This Murim’s Crazy B*tch (Just read it lol) Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear(here's a slice of life for you) Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? Nanomancer Reborn Maiden of the Splitting Moon (No system. looks like it's dropped :( Still, it holds sentimental value to me, so I'll recommend) 7 Path of the Lilies(No system. long hiatus) Game of the World Tree(for a specific audience but good nonetheless) Apotheosis of a Demon – A Monster Evolution Story (peak) A Wild Last Boss Appeared(pretty fun) I Became a Magical Cheat Loli Witch ~My Different World Life With My Reincarnation Privilege [Creation Magic] and the [Seed of Magic]~ The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent (LN) While Killing Slimes for 300 Years, I Became the MAX Level Unknowingly Mesugaki Tank Enters The Academy(Haven't read, but it's on my list) --------------------- If you can't tell, I have a certain preference haha. However, as far as haremless system novels goes, this is all I feel comfortable recommending. If you like one of them, you'll probably enjoy the others as they all have a similar vibe in my opinion. There are plenty of other good novels I'd recommend, but they either don't have a system or have a harem.
From what I’ve read, you (the system) leans more toward fundamental abilities rather than overpowered spells or whatever, so here’s some ideas: 1. 8 Inner Hidden Gates(but not from Naruto). I’m thinking something more along the lines of Martial World, where the “Gates” aren’t just limiters on the body. Once unlocked, they bring permanent enhancements to the body, without having to “open” them every time. 2. Mind Palace. 3. Haki. It’s always an option, albeit a little overused. 4.Body Reconstruction. You see this a lot in Martial Arts novels. A literal reconstruction that rebuilds the body to perfectly suit martial arts.(Greatly enhances potential, strength, energy control, muscle/bone density and placement, longer lifespan, etc). 5. Energy Manipulation/Control. Maybe some sort of technique/organ/knowledge that greatly enhances energy control, like the Six Eyes from JJK. 6. Magic Circuit, like from Fate. 7. Bloodline Awakening. Maybe he can evolve into a High Human or something. 8. Mana Core/Aether Core from TBATE 9. Enhanced Organs. Like maybe his digestive system evolves to become more efficient. Or his cardiovascular system evolves, expanding his veins, allowing more blood and oxygen to travel throughout his body, greatly enhancing stamina and recovery. Could be anything. You could even introduce new organs. 10. Breathing Techniques, like from Demon Slayer, but maybe altered to have higher scaling or integrate with magic. 11. Meridian Cleansing/Opening. Could enhance potential, both physical and magical. 12. Some sort of Body Tempering. Iron Bones. Steel-Threaded Muscles. Could be obtained by breaking and regenerating his body over and over again. 13. Enhanced Regeneration. Self explanatory. 14. Telekinesis. If trained properly, the scaling could be insane. 15. Maybe something like the One Punch Man body limiters. Break said limiter and obtain crazy power. 16. Magical Condensing, similar to the Limitless Technique from JJK. 17. Shadow Simulator(or whatever it’s called) from Nano Machine, where he can analyze opponents and fight a replication of said enemy as a shadow that only he can see. 18. Runes/Rune Engraving 19. Muscle Memory Engraving. Reach certain level of proficiency in a practice/technique and engrave it into the body. 20. Rokushiki (One Piece) 21. Quirks from MHA That’s all I can think of for more fundamental human techniques. Now, as for what I want to see… That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime skills! Where, just by training and sheer force of will he can obtain certain skills that suit him best. Like Hinata’s Dead End Rainbow skill or Yuuki’s anti-skill body would be crazy lol (though I know it’d never happen).
One last thing: MC's rewards are only limited by common sense and creativity. So, I'd love to hear your suggestions on this!

Depends on a lot of factors. However, I’d say forced isolation generally leads to despair. That’s probably why solitary confinement in prisons is so “intense”. But voluntary self-isolation usually isn’t negative. That’s when we can reflect, think, and just… let go. Maybe long periods of complete isolation could lead to something like despair, but part of that does depend on the person, their mindset, and situation. Some people relish in the fact that they don’t have to deal with others. Shout out to my fellow introverts.
"I suppose that's true," I replied after a moment of contemplation. "Without bonds, we're isolated. And isolation can lead to..." I paused, searching for the right word. "Despair, I guess."

My man! A true introvert, indeed.

Just a thought, but… it’s hard to say whether this is a bad idea or not. I mean, if I was just a normal person, I would not want to live in a city filled with cultivators. The chances of dying randomly seem pretty high. On the other hand, if I was a cultivator, I wouldn’t want normal people making laws and ruling over me and other cultivators. Not necessarily because they’re weak, but can you trust a normal person to know what it feels like to be a cultivator? Can you trust they will work in your best interest, or will they do everything they can to gather as much power as possible to control said cultivators? I feel like combining the two would create a dystopian society, where normal people live a life of pseudo-slavery, under the thumb of the powerful, yet being able to do nothing. They’ll never be able to rise up, creating a vicious downward cycle of poverty and submission.
Led by some cultivators, they were unwilling to let ordinary people hold power, claiming they wanted to establish a cultivator nation, where everyone would be able to practice cultivation.

That made Cipher stop as he turned around and stared at Malice. "Good. You should learn to take the hand that wants to help you, Malice. If I walked away, you would've probably remained in this hellhole for the rest of your life. I can sense that you fear me. But…"

Haha, that’s fine. I mostly wrote it for the author, anyways. Reviews on Webnovel are like 99% worthless and I want mine to be something the author can, hopefully, take reference from and maybe learn something. However unlikely that will be 😞. Though, I may have gone a bit overboard here… The gist of it is, give the novel a shot.
I’m also a little confused here. Bro could be their ancestor 100x over. It’s a little awkward to see him acting his way.
"I promise, I'll protect Xin'er and all of you. I'll become someone you can be proud of, someone worthy of the love and trust you've given me."

Uhhh… what? So, what did he regret? That he was a bad judge of character? That he got betrayed? I understand loneliness, but that was purely his own doing. He wanted power under the guise of helping his family. Nothing wrong with that. Also, he had a loving family who would be more than glad to spend time with him plus a vast amount of time. I really don’t buy that he was “lonely”. From where I stand, all his actions kept him safe, powerful, mentally stable, and alive. As soon as he got mixed up with “friends” he literally died. If there’s anything to learn, it’s not “I won’t push people away and will grow with them.” It should be, “I’ll be more cautious of who I grow close to.”
"You're right, Father. I've learned from my past lives that pushing everyone away only leads to loneliness and regret. This time, I'll cherish the people around me and grow stronger with them."

Well.... I don't know if I'm the best person to ask for that sort of thing ahaha. However, as a surface-level overview, you seem to be doing pretty well for yourself. I don't want to feed the "imposter syndrome" hahaha. Also, reviewing on request doesn't seem quite as genuine to me so I generally don't unless I'm already interested in the novel or I feel like the author might be able to gain/learn something. It's kind of like telling someone not to think about *insert thing*. Their brain will automatically think of that thing. If I go into a novel in order to review it, I'll be hyper-critical of everything. "Oh, they misspelled 5 words in that chapter. There were also a bunch of minor grammatical mistakes." "Paragraphs and sentences don't flow as smoothly as they could." "Is this a plothole?" "Hopefully, the characters stay consistent and grow consistently." Those kinds of things. It's kind of hard to just enjoy a novel for what it is when you're on the lookout for things to review, whether they be good or bad. Maybe I'll give your novel a shot, but I probably won't be finishing all 800+ chapters before reviewing lol. Though, it does look interesting. Anyways, don't get your hopes up! Haha
