true, but either Drake might not pay attention to the tattoos, or the divine realm may copy or nullify it

"The last type of trial is the rarest but most frightening, usually it only happens once even in those parties that managed to get up to the eighth floor, which is the current record… This is the Faker Trial. When your party enters the room of this trial, one of you will be suddenly replaced by an identical copy. It will be your duty to find who is the copy and defeat them to acquire a key to move forward. Of course, this is the trial that has broken the most friendships… Be careful. It has a time limit as well." Aria said.

The information about the Scaled God was kept a secret, of course. If the rest of society were to know about the lizardmen praying to such a monstrous being that brought that big army against the village of Orange the people would quickly change their opinion about the lizardmen. The origin of the savage lizardmen, however, was quickly explained as an "evil cult of lizardmen" that was swiftly eliminated by Kraxka and Larzak with the help of the Local Heroes, Benladann and company. Also, the existence of Drake was spread amongst the lizardmen, who all prayed to him as the "True Scaled God" now, although without proper shrines, he won't be able to get Divine Power from people's faith yet…

true, this assassination has been set since his birth.

Wouldn't someone like Neron be more of a threat to them? Why didn't they kill him instead?

'While this is overkill, I refuse to underestimate those humans.' Kahn thought to himself.

Always comes down to politics and taking the throne when involves royalty.

If—no, when—we survived, this incident would definitely reach the ears of the Royal Capital. In which case, Fabian wanted this whole incident to end with him as the savior. If that happened, it would solidify his position as an heir.
