I think I understand what is happening here, the author did a very bad job(didn't explain anything but eh)of explaining what happened but by reading the authors comments i think what happened here was, because of just being reincarnated mc's soul was weak/hurt? so when he used predator on Peter, because of his soul problems Peters soul didn't get stored in the skill like it does for rimuru but actually merged with the mc so now they are one being.

while what Kiba said to naruto from the perspective of naruto was hurtful with Oscar just having died, from Kibas perspective it was the equivalent of saying to a classmate your father is lame(i don't remember what he really said) and the classmate jumping at you with an ax and if the teacher didn't stop it you would've died (tho we know naruto would actually kill him but from his perspective he would've died if the teacher didn't "save" him)

hmm I was thinking more along the lines of the people being the fragments themselves, not the fragments being clumps of power that people can absob, like Emmet when he had cancer was still one being and by some means he was split into multiple fragments(people), which each have a clump of memories, but no two fragments can have the same clump of memories so there will ever be only one Emmet(Julien) and one Emmet(Jackel) but the fragments don't necessarily have to be normal humans with bodies, Julien is a fragment of mind only and maybe that's why he has more memories than Jackel, but maybe because Jackel has both a body and a mind, he could feel that the fog had something to do with oracleus, also he probably has less memories of before the transmigration into Julien, maybe if Julien assimilates Jackel, his body will change and he will have more power over keeping og Julien imprisoned inside him. There probably is a fragment that is just a body one( this could be possible in two ways ether it's just a body in suspended animation or a person that has the body of Emmet and the mind of a normal person that has no memories of Emmet.)

Well guys what he is saying is technically true, because while Julien and him are fragments, his body/mind are of a single being, Julien on the other hand is only a mind that took over the og Juliens body so technically unless og Julien was a fragment too, our Julien would be a mind fragment stealing blood from a fragment that is so of both body and mind and injecting it on a foreign body.🤷‍♂️ But on the other hand Julien probably is a more complete fragment because he has more memories of himself, and even Julien doesn't have 100% of his memories so there could be even more fragments that think they are the one and have memories that Julien doesn't.

plus the way that og Julien looked at her whenhe was in control, remember she said that they weren't the same eyes.

Devas has a good opportunity to make more points here, by taking requests to do something with his energys/body from people that want to improve by compering with his senses.
