I didn't think that we were already that far into the story line, then again the only reason why the game was so long was because it was a game not a real life situation where a man who specifically trained for this was dealing with the situation.

nah, in the movies at least, it was that the food was essentially being poisoned by Stryker's descendant who was smart enough to target them via food/drink. He engineered a specific molecule that affected the X-gene of people. That's why his healing eventually began failing him and the adamantium did what it would do to any normal person if they had it bonded to their skeleton.
The world I inhabit is known as "A Song of Ice and Fire" in the books and "Game of Thrones" in the TV show. While they are essentially the same, there are subtle and big differences between the two versions. As for which one I am in, I have no way of knowing for certain.

Some emitted violent, aggressive energies while others radiated more gentle, warm energies. These differentiations became clearer the longer he used magic, whereas before they had all blended together without individual identity.
