In order to be normal like everyone else. I have to ignore the things that others can not see. I have to pretend to be my age. Once I am done what I have to, I have other better things to be doing with my existence away from here. I don't need to stand being bullied by the one thing I cherished more then my own soul. I don't have to accept the downward glares even those I love give me. They don't know what I had to do to be where I am.

A grim world of layers that eclipses over worse nightmares. The innocent aren't adapted to see what others do, and those that do have some larger image to mind. No one is perfect and there is not right and wrong. Most days it is survival and options the weigh a balance scale. Welcome to the land where coexistence of Vampires, skin changers and those fairy tale's of fairies are often true. This is not the world we know, rather they seem a clash of eras in competition as the food chain of survival comes and goes. There hides a race with all the future technology while the underbelly of the lower end of the stick are still hammering at the black smiths. The only peace makers for huanity are that of the hunters of oath. But not all is as it seems.

From one world to another, the working cogs of the afterlife have suited the souls within those worlds. Slightly beyond the sight of living people is a system of order that keeps all in check. Away from worlds of magic (as was in the previous books), here is a world as we know it. But peel back the laws that prevent the living among the dead, befall a strange way of life for one individual. In all honesty: this 132 chapter book is more the removed sections of another. This is a very broken long draft, I would actually not have this one in paper copy. But the elements of this book are basically for 'Shroud Over Their Eyes'. Welcome to my headache of untangling this multiverse.

This was originally a delicious box of old scrap personal diaries that follow a stranger. Although as the further into the books I became, I had the urge in seeking the rest of it. Given this was a time of machines. I had my luck in finding the right souls. A sort of system has scanned, registered and submitted all data into some hidden storage database. Apparently 'any alterations were consult with administrator. All data from corresponding subjects was included among the scanned records, sometimes blended into the narrative. Makes for easier storage and reading flow.' I wasn't the only one who fell into the reading then. ___________________________________ Real Author (Kittah): This story is not a typical female lead novel, not a lot of romance but coping in a post apocalypse. Which I don't get why female lead novels have to have a element of romance. It starts out as a diary should but further on, things change. The world around was the one we know of now but this story is later set in the unknown future. At times it can feel like I am trying to write a horror novel, but that's not what it is. This really is just a bumpy journey of a female character. I must rewrite my disclaimer which is the author note of chapter one. This seems like it relevant to today with the global pandemic. However the inspiration is my personal experience during the swine flu outbreak in the UK around 2012 or 2013. The majority of this story is prewritten but I have been changing it since putting it online. And, yes story does spill over into the author notes. You will understand in the later chapters. It's a writer's choose. May the odds be in your favor.

Things were normal for a time. Wake up, be annoyed by my siblings, avoid the black shadow and the attic things, go to school, avoid the what aren't humans. Maybe just my day will go forward like it should be. I don't need transferring to another foster family. Or change of schools. Just please be another passive day. I am grateful for what I have. I don't need to be a street rat. ----- Welcome to a small wedge of a book series is to come. This book isn't even the first in the timeline of things. However starting here can make sense of the laws and creatures encountered in other books. Some of the volumes could each be considered its own book. Some views of the same event aren't always written the same ways. Some chapters will inevitably be repeated in other books. As the series as a whole wasn't intended to be posted online originally. The concepts touched on are just imagination and theories in a sort of storyline. I mean no disrespect towards anyone. So enjoy with a side of salt and open mindedness.
