He should be able to win almost every fight that is not magical. Not get his ass handed to him by someone who can copy fighting styles. More so, someone with super strength! absorb /move, or you know manipulate his kinetic energy. Hit him once with the power to shatter every bone in his body, and you win. You know, like use your superpower. I think the author forgot his superpower.

Yeah, and never f****** uses it. Literally, everything done physically is kinetic energy. Breathing, blood circulation, moving, punching, and bullets.

The next paragraph that I didn't read before commenting fixed it. So that's kinda embarrassing...
As the cuffs holding him snapped open on their own, he slowly sat up, his hands trembling as he reached for the dagger still embedded in his side. With a sharp intake of breath, he pulled it free, the pain nearly overwhelming him.

I hate this trope in media. Pulling that dagger out would just cause you to bleed to death faster. The dagger itself is holding back some of the blood loss, pulling it free you will now have an open wound. ( Well, now that I think about it, pulling It out might be a decent idea. It's probably enchanted)

The next day, the sun hung high in the Gotham sky as Viktor Frost sat in the back of his 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, a sleek luxury sedan. Dressed in a tailored black suit, he focused intently on the prototype smartphone in his hand, contemplating the impact of his upcoming product launch.

Just hand wave anything you want into existence. Then, the author creates new things just to progress the "story". Has no logical connections at all. Small example here. He leaves wherever he starts from, possibly New York( Don't believe it's mentioned) and just so happens to go to Mystic Falls but has no idea about anything Vampire Diaries related. It's literally a small town like any other. Why did he stop here of all places, and you know not one of the 100s of other small towns on the way there? Handwaved because the author said so. Continuity? story flow? That's not needed here.
Just pull the superstructure out of his a** Where is it built? Who built it? How was it built? Did he mind control workers? (In a small town? 25 workers at best) How did he get the materials? How long did this take? No, let's just give him a fortress of solitude in the middle of nowhere. Great storytelling! (sarcastic)
In the metal room deep underground, Niklaus surveyed the walls of his newly constructed underground sanctuary. The space was designed for one purpose: to be impenetrable to psychic signals.

Feet first into a wood-chipper, the best method.
'But hey—at least I showed up at the right time. Saved my ass , Quite literally, and took out a pedophile in one go.'

This is hands down one of the best Harry Potter fan fictions, there is. I only wish there were more chapters, but the chapters are LONG(4K TO 5K). So I'm not too upset about it. I'm just nervous that it will be dropped.
I may change this later into the story. So far, the plot is !Super Forced!. Author conveniently forgets. He can manipulate kinetic energy. So he gets punched and kicked and shot and whatnot with kinetic energy but doesn't use his superpower. And it's frustrating! it's like Superman not using his ability to fly, so he is now late to all crimes because he now only walks. It's not like he doesn't know how to use his power. Cause he already uses it by throwing his cards around. If he can imbue kinetic energy into a paper card and energy into his attacks with a bo staff. What's stops him from putting in more energy? Answer = Nothing, so why? Only the plot or MC's mentally challenged. Which one is it?
