I kinda wonder if it’s because he’s always made it for her with utmost care and that affects how it tastes to her?
She was quite hungry after the strenuous sword practice, so his invitation was most welcome. Truth be told, Nephis had never paid much attention to food... but everything prepared by Master Sunless was simply too delicious. She enjoyed these meals quite a bit.

If Cassie could project this onto a screen I’d bet money that most of the fire keepers would be right next to her with the big bucket of popcorn.
Would that be considered inviting a man over? She lived on the Ivory Island, after all… what would he think?
Fantasy · Guiltythree
In action. Maybe.
Master Sunless was never unpleasant in his actions, and treated her with the utmost decorum. His mind was clear, and his intentions were pure. So, Nephis was not at all appalled by the hidden flames burning in his soul.

The best part is that he may actually be a very important anchor of her domain because of how much he cares for her.
The gentle enchanter was not uncomfortable. He was just trying to hide being moved by her appearance… his yearning was usually vague and subdued, as if something was obscuring it from her senses. But she knew that it was there.

He can enjoy both guys, come on!
'He must really appreciate swordsmanship…'

Now? No, you’d probably have to find one in the dream realm.
Were there even real beaches left in the waking world? There had to be. Rich folk loved their leisure.

FOR FIREBALL!! FOR OUR BEACH EPISOOOOOOOODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Strangely enough, that rest stop on the white arch etched itself in his memories most vividly. Sunny felt remorse for never taking the members of the cohort to a real beach… now, it was too late. He would never have such an opportunity again.

Maybe? It’s unclear if they HAD to lie like sunny or if they just did that. Its also something a (likely) cleric of weaver wrote down so it could be translated into plain speak. It would be funny if it actually meant absolutely nothing though.
That did not make a lot of sense, though, since the runes described something that the elusive daemon had said. So, it would have been "I will open the Gates", not "they will"... unless Weaver had had a habit of referring to themselves in the third person.

The shadows have some level of intelligence, but the avatars are just sunny. So madness
Because at that moment, Sunny fully realized that he was right.
Fantasy · Guiltythree
He’s looped around from insane back to sane.
"What conversation? It's a quarrel. A quarrel with myself! Get your facts straight. Idiot."
Fantasy · Guiltythree
So the vile thieving bird spawn, the arm in the ebony tower, and the tree in oblivions tomb…
A piece is lost to fantasy, a piece is lost to fear. A piece is lost to respite, a piece is lost to darkness. A piece is lost to sorrow, a piece is lost to rot. And finally, a piece is stolen by a thief.
Fantasy · Guiltythree
Bit late for “going” he’s been insane since the shore.
"Thought so."

Both? A conversation between a God and a Daemon seems like the stuff of fairy tales but it could have happened.
Sunny thought about the strange story for a long time. Was it a fable Nether had written down on a whim? Or the transcript of an actual conversation between him and Storm God?
Fantasy · Guiltythree
I love how sunny thinks shadows being “cold and antisocial” but he ends up coming off as a snarky introvert more than anything.
"Only the good things, I hope."

His flaw prevents him from lying, and forces him to respond when asked a question, he does not have to give a clear answer. His response to her question was “I can answer your question with three of my own” a true statement and proper response to her question. If someone asked him, “what is your favorite color?” He would have to answer with whatever it is, as he could not reasonably answer that question with more questions.
"I can answer your question with three of my own."
Fantasy · Guiltythree
That’s a true answer, he CAN answer her question with his own.
"I can answer your question with three of my own."

Yes Vivian, we all know, it’s not a secret.
"Don't think you can trick me with your fancy words! I know your secret! You like to dress up as a maid!" insisted Vivian.

Ok, is shadow god also beauty god? Because even as a saint he shouldn’t be THIS gorgeous. Unless ‘twink’ is a exceptionally rare body type for awakened?
The Fire Keepers — especially the two women — had a bit of a strange reaction to his appearance.
Fantasy · Guiltythree
Sounds about right, no matter how much you idolize someone if they can sneeze and kill you. Its best not to risk annoying them.
Luckily, a Saint was different from a celebrity. Although she was immensely popular, people treated her with a sense of solemn veneration. No one bothered them wanting to receive an autograph, and no one tried to exchange words with her — they just looked from afar and kept a respectful distance.
