James life has been down for a long time, maybe all his life. He was born to a family on the edge of poverty, His mom left his dad and siblings when he was 7, his beloved little sister was killed in a gang fight by a stray bullet when he was 12, his dad has been diagnosed with incurable brain cancer, and will die in a few years, while his older brother has been going to job after job just to pay the bills for the shitty apartment they live in. James's only good thing is that he is a genius, which he planned to use to get into a good school, and let what's left of his dysfunctional live their lives care free. James is a good kid, who despite his troubles helps when he can, and is a good person. But he soon dies to a school shooting at his highschool at just 16 years old, never being able to fulfill his dream. reborn in a new world named Mirdall, with newly awoken memories of his past life, he is now Elliot Renson, a boy born into slavery with his mother, and older sister. now in a world set in medieval times, he vows to do what ever it takes to rise to the top and give his family a happy life, with only his genius intellect. Whatever It Takes. Author: Okay, so James is a character far different from my other story character, and will develop in a drastically different way. James/Elliot will do whatever it takes to get his family and possibly future lover to rise to the top, and will progressively do more and more increasingly dispicable things to makes sure this dream comes true.
