Maybe that's why I'm so drawn to Kat and Lily. Sue too I guess. Demons… we are not always a nice species. We're not crazy and the consequences of losing that war against the angels means our public image is forever ruined… but I can't help but wonder if that's really the end of it. If we improved more as a species it could go away. I mean… our hub is one of the nicer ones. Mum has the power to leave if it wasn't and for the most part my family is good people… but… but I wonder if my definition of good was ever the same as the majority of people.

Well, there was that one time when she was summoned to defend a town from a treant that got destroyed, but in fairness she was summoned during the fight. Some desperate guy had offered 'everything' to kill the treant after she was summoned into his ruined home.

"Hmmm… probably that time we managed to catch this big peryton. We were resting at a lake just outside of the forest. We were chasing something else but I don't quite remember what it was… certainly not as good eating a peryton. Anyway, we ran passed this like and saw the thing there with a wounded wind and hind. It clearly got attacked by something else but it either managed to kill whatever it was or get away. Might've been able to run fast enough, I've got not idea how fast they normally are on land.
