Once he released Uta, she didn't back away and instead kissed Marcus on the cheek which actually left him stunned for a moment. Uta herself turned a deep shade of red and ran towards the ship as cheers and whistles erupted from Shanks and the crew, which just made things worse. Nope I disagree i'm looking at this from a realistic point. In real life we will make mistakes. He got lucky that his gramps was around from this he will grow and learn. If he does not make these kind of mistakes then his character wud apear to flat and 1 dimensional for me. He will also realise that the moral rules of this new world is diffrent.
But if you mean your question in the way of a good friendship and he has a crew someday and she joins I think that wud be great.
Only saw that question now. But its a bit early for Uta and Marcus since I havent seen much of her personality and she's like 5 which means she's acting her age. And I have to wonder is she going for him because he saved her (u know hero saves the beauty) or will she genuinely like him especially since peope tend to change as they get older.

I dont smoke cause I dont want to die and I dont drink cause it dousnt affect me much. So I dont see an issue with the MC not doing it smoking and drinking dousnt make u an adult.
