What about a semblance where he is as strong as he needs to be? It wouldn’t be bad for him, he is a reincarnation of a catalyst comet and was considered one of the greatest heroes of Ooo, his semblance should reflect that swords sommoning is cool I’d rather see him live up to being a hero, and bloodbending would be out of character for him to use actively.
