This is truth, but total BS! This is NOT the way, the only reason why fear tactics didn't work in the past is cause up until the last 50 to 100ish years we had extreme difficulties actually catching criminals, and now most of the people we catch are criminals. (I won't deny there are still some innocent that get prisoned but they are a minority compared to the statistics of the past.) As such we should be dealing harsher punishments so as to discourage future criminals from following that path. Plus, just like in the super hero comics, as long as one let's a villian live not only will more people suffer, but more criminals will come and rally around them till eventually you have hundreds of monsters and 1 hero. In reality, that 1 hero would and is always killed so I say down with the monsters!
They lived in a state of illusion, one of their own making where they believed that people were generally good, and that evil could be reasoned with, and changed. And in this state of naivety and outright stupidity, they convinced themselves that justice served the purpose of rehabilitating a criminal after he had been convicted of violating the law.

Just finished a semester heavily focused on writing courses and the one thing all of my classes kept saying is the author is just the scribe of the story, all we do is write down and good authors are able to allow the story to live on their own without interference. I feel you have successfully done this hence I say ignore anyone who says you the author are forcing a plot or agenda, keep up the amazing work!
While simply killing the people in these regions was the most logical and practical solution available to Bruno and the Central Powers, Bruno did not believe that harming innocent and unarmed people was a proper thing to do.

Leon's words were not exactly welcome among his soldiers. These men had quite literally just faced down an advance of hellfire and masked wearing demons. Who seemingly came out at the witch's hour to personally take their souls.

It seemed like a tree was on fire, reminding Wang Zhong of the lyrics from "The Song of Lonely Mountain," "The trees like torches blazed with light." Because of language issues, he didn't feel much for most English lyrics, with a few exceptions, and this was one of them.

to an extent this quote is quite true, now if only modern women understood this fact since women themselves are the one who drove this quote into truth 😔
Nelly, "What are you talking about? Even if you marry Liu Da, you can still have a lover. If a woman doesn't have lovers, it means she really loves her husband. If a man doesn't have lovers, it means he has no charm."

why doesn't he just claim both? he already knows or should understand the church is making moves to remove nobility and in turn royalty based on old world history so he could definitely give both of them a warm home to live with him if he played his cards right.
Wang Zhong, accompanied by the two princesses—yes, two princesses, one a real princess and the other his princess—wandered around his quarters for three hours.

though I'm 2 months late, i must say, they should've just left all the ammo to use as 1 final explosive trap that was blown up as the last train departed so the enemy wouldn't learn of the defenses
Preach brother!
This, of course, was incorrect. Justice was never intended to serve the interests of the criminal, rather, its sole purpose was to ensure that society, and the people within it, were compliant with the rule of law. You could not reason with a man who lived a life outside the law. There were few, if any, circumstances where you could convince him to follow the rules that we have all agreed to adhere to in a civilized society.
