For the girlfriend, while pinkie pie is a good contender i like more sunset, she had more character development than the other girls and became a more complex character. Pinkie oie is just crazy, good crazy but still. Also love rock girls. As for sonic template yes i know how op is comic sonic, but i meant the videogame sonic, the one that is as strong as the plot needs. Well it was just an idea anyway 😅

Forget about moon and celestia for the harem, too cliche and they are older than him. Maybe big sisters or something. As for the harem, well in reality its actually normal or at least possible to have a lot of girls IF you are a man in the Top tier 10%, if a girl has to choose to be the only wife of a farmer and the lover of a king, she will choose the lover of the king everytime. BUT personally i like more your idea of making sunset shimmer the main waifum she is already powerfull, she is sweet and comprensive after her change AND she is more open minded for the Multiverse. You can make it so she chooses mc as her boyfriend because, he didnt kneel before her and he is famous/rich/influent and powerfull, plus he is willing to help her. MC being her first and only boyfriend before canon is way better. Ohh and for mcs makn power can we give him a sonic template please? I think that power set alone is perfect for mc as it will be OP enough to face a lot of threats but also make it enteirtaining since he wont one punch all of them. Plus this way mc wont have to become an almagam of diferent weird powers/items and instead you can build from sonic figthing style and give mc decent power ups from time to time

Pereonally i would only go for Sunset shimmer, but at the end its not a bad idea to limit a possible harem to the main cast. Wether you decide to add just 2, 4 or all of them. As for the multiverse, no need to add girls. We have all seen most of naruyo, dc, marvel, bleach, fairytail, etc, etc waifus. Its kinda boring. Ohh a suggestion try to explore new unseen worlds like danny phantom, kim possible, teenage robot girl(forgot the name) transformers prime. Therr are plenty of fun cartoon worlds we havent seen. Tho its your choice, so no preassure 😁

Finally i had a question is this a harem? Or single live interest, im good either way but if its a harem please just add girls from the main cast (you decide how lany) there are dozens of waifus in this world but most of them are useless or barely diferent from one and other. Stetically at least. Personally i would like to have sunset shimmer either as the single love interest or one of the maingirls in the harem. There are so little fics about her

Absolutrly love the concept and development so far, we barely see equestria girls fanfics, much less with the multiverse in it, i just hope that if you add it please try to not make the cliche of traveling add waifus, follow plot and thats it. If you feel comfortable you should explore more this concept, maybe make mc a scientist genius and present the mulyiverse theory and other op inventions, works and postulations about cool sci fi stuff. Then show tha canterloot girls the portal gun/machine and travel to less traversed worlds and have adventures.
