Yousuke could already think of several ways to use those abilities, especially since the balls could also make others do very simple things, like moving a limb this way or that, coupled with the fact that they numbed the zone where they were applied, and Yousuke was chuckling and rubbing his hands like a cartoon villain in mere moments from the thought alone.

Heroes and quirks kinda made religion obsolete. Suddenly, there's no point in praying to god if there's a dude who can cure your kid's cancer with a wave of his hand. People just don't teach their kids about religion anymore. It's a choice, really.
The girl, to her credit, did not get shaken to her core or something like that, but it was clear from her pensive expression that she wasn't so certain of her religion anymore. If she had anything to say to Yousuke, she had missed her chance, because they were approaching the USJ.
