I think its becuase of the universe LAWS. Campione universe autorithy possesion is done after a god is slayed via ritual and interference of a goddess, Pandora. She facilitates this process. DxD gods have died before but their autorithyes were not taken. Each world/universe has its own laws which react differently in the same situation. Tho idk if the 2nd and after god slayed after becoming a campione makes this process automatic or still needs pandora to a degree.

What would happen, when 2 beings, one older than time itself picks a fancy to a person who has nothing to lose when she lost the only thing she held dear, and a man who was not supposed to even exist, manifest before the same person but in different circumstances. So, besides the OC and maybe some future characters that i may make up, all of the characters mentioned belong to their own creators, DxD, D-gray man and Dishonor respectively.
