The Senate was directly under Dooku and wouldn't resist them. The Droids had the Republic outnumbered 3-1 anywhere and almost 5/6-1 at the end of the war. I don't understand how they lost. Additionally they had so many more naval ships. Lucrehulks, Recusants, Munificents and 10's of other ships.

Let's make one thing clear though, I wouldn't do anything weird with Aunty Miyako ever again, I respect Uncle Ichigo as a man, he was a responsible husband and father, and he was always kind to my family too.
